Qualifications and Experience
Level 2 BTEC Intermediate Award: Technical Skills in Live Entertainment - Loughborough College
Alison has been actively involved in amateur theatre for more than fifty years. She is an award winning actress and director who has made it a priority to understand, as well as to experience, all other theatrical disciplines in the process. She has a particular interest in design and costume and a keen eye for detail.
On relocating to the West Country in 2000, she enjoyed performing with and directing for many established local theatre groups in both Somerset and Devon as well as founding and running her own small production company, Manor House/Blackdown Productions. She produced and directed plays and musicals for actors of all ages and abilities. She particularly enjoys working with children and young adults although she is passionate about promoting and encouraging good theatre wherever and whenever she can.
In 2019, Alison moved to Norfolk where she is hoping to discover fresh theatrical opportunities in her new location.
