Qualifications and Experience
Mike Kaiser spent over thirty years teaching English and Drama. Originally from Manchester, he has lived for over fifty years in Shropshire where he was Head of English and Theatre Studies at the Sixth Form College in Telford.
For all of that time, he has been active in amateur theatre winning many awards for directing, acting and writing. He set up a theatre company in his own town in Shropshire over forty years ago and directed their winning entry in the All-England Theatre Festival. He also ran a youth theatre for over twenty years. Until recently he was also an examiner with AQA , going into schools and colleges to assess their drama practicals.
He became a member of GODA in 2000 and served several terms on their Council, finally standing down in 2016. He has adjudicated in every part of the UK. In 2013 he adjudicated the British All-Winners Final for the second time and has also adjudicated the final of the Welsh YFC competition.
